For over 30 years, Philippe Melançon has worked as a producer, director, screenwriter and editor on a wide variety of projects, including commercials, television shows, movies, documentaries, fiction and non-fiction. A curious and enthousiastic creative, he’s also been an actor and improvisation player.
Philippe has been the head of a production company, leading and hiring creative teams, producing commercials and documentaries. He has also been part of the conception team of the Montreal Science Centre. A natural born communicator, he has participated in the writing of various web and television concepts, short or feature films and has even taught editing. Recently, he’s been mostly editing documentaries and feature films.
Philippe is passionate, creative and has the reputation of having a knack for storytelling. From writing to editing, with his business and commercial experience, he understands the challenge and subtleties of carrying a project from start to finish.
